Welcome Back BBQ: We traditionally start the year with a casual event for new and returning students to meet each other.
Pride Retreat: Open to all LGBT students and their SOs, the annual off-campus retreat allows members to get to know each other at a deeper level and shape the club’s culture and agenda. The highlight of the retreat is the sharing of coming out stories facilitated by LGBT faculty members who teach “Touchy Feely”.
ROMBA Conference: We coordinate a group of students to the annual Reaching Out MBA Conference.
During Fall Quarter, we also co-host recruitment events with various firms and mixers with other Stanford LGBT groups.
Student-Alumni Holiday Mixer: One of our most well-attended events of the year, the annual mixer is traditionally hosted by alums in San Francisco.
Ask a Q: An ally event where members of the GSB community can ask questions and learn more about what it means to be LGBT
We host speaker events periodically featuring LGBT leaders on campus. Most recently, we co-hosted a BBL with GSB alum Zoe Dunning, the only openly gay person serving in military before “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal.
C4C Mixer: We host a mixer for LGBT students from the eight west coast MBA programs who visit our campus during C4C weekend.
Masquerade: We invite the entire GSB campus to a night out at LGBT-friendly establishments in San Francisco. This event is co-hosted by the Social Committee.
Throughout the year, the board organizes various informal social events for the community, such as Sunday brunches, drinks, and outings to San Francisco (e.g. for Folsom Street Fair).
